Applying for a Marriage License

The City Civil Registry Office receives applications and issues City marriage licenses to qualified couples when either or both applicants reside in the City of San Fernando and no legal impediment exists.

Fee: PHP 452 total (PHP 100 application forms, PHP 300 processing, PHP 50 pre-marriage counseling/orientation certificate, and PHP 2 marriage-license form at release)

Petition for Correction of Clerical Error /Change of First Name / Change of Sex and Correction of Day and Month of Birth (R.A. 9048 and R.A. 10172)

CCRO receives eligible administrative petitions under RA 9048 and RA 10172 for clerical errors, change of first name, change of sex, or correction of the day or month of birth without a judicial order.

A legal-age person with direct and personal interest, including the record owner or an eligible relative, guardian, or authorized representative as applicable

Processing time: 10 days, 1 hour, and 10 minutes

Fee: PHP 1,000 for clerical error; PHP 3,000 for change of first name, sex, or day/month of birth; plus PHP 500 or PHP 1,000 for a migrant petition, as applicable

CCRO registers a legitimation instrument for an eligible non-marital child whose parents subsequently entered a valid marriage without legal impediment.
