Demographics
This page presents three separate official measures — 2024 household population, 2020 age-and-sex structure, and 2023 poverty estimates — each in its own reference period. It does not repeat the 377,534 total population figure shown on Population statistics.
Household population is not total population
The 377,534 total population (2024 POPCEN, on Population statistics) and the 375,498 household population below (this page) are different universes: household population excludes institutional and other non-household population. Never add or compare them as if they measure the same thing.

Coverage and limitations
- Total population (2024 POPCEN, published separately in demographics/barangays.json) and household population (this dataset) are different universes; household population excludes institutional/other non-household population.
- The 2024 household/number-of-households figures and the 2020 age-and-sex structure are different census vintages and must never be blended into one population structure.
- The 2020 age/sex structure describes the 2020 household population (352,801), not the 2024 population (377,534).
- Poverty is a 2023 model-based Small Area Estimate with uncertainty (standard error, coefficient of variation, 90% confidence interval), not a census count, and does not identify individual poor households.
- Barangay-level age, sex, and poverty data are not available in this export; only citywide age/sex/poverty figures are published.
- Population density (2015/2020/2024) is not included in this release; the official PSA source table was unavailable at time of publication (see held_dimensions).
- This dataset contains only official published aggregate statistics; no microdata, no derived average household size, and no employment/labor-force, civil-status, education, disability, or migration figures.
- Population density is held: PSA OpenSTAT PXWeb table 0221A6DLPD0 (and the alternate Philippine Statistical Yearbook city-density table 0031A2BPLD1) returned a server error (PXWeb ErrorGeneral) on every access attempt during this batch, including direct navigation, genuine physical link clicks from a live session, and the table's own CSV export action. This is a source-availability failure, not a jurisdiction or extraction issue. The 2026-07-06 PSA erratum (Ref. 2026-215) that prompted the density re-check corrected City of Antipolo land-area data (Region IV-A/CALABARZON); it did not identify any error specific to City of San Fernando, Pampanga or Region III.
