Steps
How to apply
- 1
Come to the Birthing Station when in labor.
- 2
When in pain, follow the breathing techniques guided by staff.
- 3
Lie on the delivery table and follow the Health Care Provider's instructions.
- 4
Lie in lithotomy position as instructed for delivery.
- 5
Continue lying in lithotomy position while newborn care is provided.
- 6
Rest while your and your newborn's vital signs are monitored.
- 7
Transfer to the ward and follow instructions on diet and breastfeeding.
- 8
Fill up the Birth Certificate form with staff assistance.
- 9
After 24 hours, follow instructions for your newborn's blood screening test.
- 10
Listen to instructions and undergo the discharge examination before being discharged.
- 11
Listen to home-care instructions, receive home medications, and sign the discharge slip once you agree with the findings.
